Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has announced that the Nintendo 3DS will receive a new hardware revision. This time, the system dubbed, “Nintendo 3DS LL” will have a 4.18 inch screen and have 6-10 hours of battery life. Pictures show that the system will also has more rounded edges than the standard system.
It will come in a variety of colors including white, red/black, and silver/black.
The system will be available in Japan on July 28th for 18,900 yen.
For those in the US, NOA COO Reggie Fils-Aime announced that the system would be named the Nintendo 3DS XL and be available in red or blue. It will also be bundled with a 4GB SD card. The price for the system stateside will be $199.99 and will be available August 19th.
