Nintendo Download: 6/21/12

In addition to the titles below, a demo for Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is currently in the Nintendo eShop.

eShop: Order Up!!, $9.99

The Wii restaurant-based title comes to the eShop. As customers come into your restaurant, you’ll need to make sure they’re happy as you prepare their food using the touch screen; you’ll also need to deal with food critics and the health inspector. The 3DS version of the game has new restaurants and characters, as well as new music and re-sampled audio.

eShop: Slitherlink by Nikoli, $4.99

The creator of Sudoku puzzles is back with another innovative number puzzle. Using the given clues, you need to collect the available dots with lines. The game has a Stage Clear mode, where you must solve 50 included puzzles designed by Nikoli, or try your hand at Random mode, where one of an infinite number of puzzles is chosen at random.

DSiWare: Lola’s Fruit Shop Sudoku, $1.99/200 Nintendo Points

Lola Panda has abandoned her Alphabet Train and is now teaching kids about Sudoku. Under the guise of sorting fruit for a fruit shop, children as young as 4 can learn how to play Sudoku using this colorful, simplified system. This game is suitable for ages 4 to 9.

DSiWare: Jewel Legends: Tree of Life, $4.99/500 Nintendo Points

An evil and greedy demon has chased the Hods away from their Tree of Life, and their world has fallen to shambles. In this puzzle board game, you must use building materials to reconstruct the world of the Hods, and restore the Tree of Life to its former glory in this Match 3 game. This game contains 100 levels and three game modes.

WiiWare: Save the Furries, 1,000 Nintendo Points

Furries are small, green creatures that stumble through foreign planets, oblivious to the dangers around them. You’ll have to use the Wii Remote to manipulate the environment around them, in order to keep them safe. Interact with ropes logs, pinballs, carts, fans, switches and more.

NES: Double Dragon II, 500 Nintendo Points

The Double Dragons, Billy and Jimmy Lee, are back to fight off the evil Shadow Warriors as revenge for the departed Marion. The duo will travel through nine stages, exploring construction sites, underwater hideouts and more as they fight off the legions of Shadow Warriors to save the world. Two players can fight together, side by side.

This is a big haul today, and the Virtual Console returns to the Wii as well. I’m interested in Order Up, as well as any puzzle games from Nikoli. Sudoku and Kakuro are both fun, I wonder how Slitherlink is?
