Demo (eShop): Heroes of Ruin

Four players can team up and go on an adventure together in this epic RPG from the creators of Geist. This game is slated for release on July 17, 2012.

NES (eShop): The Legend of Zelda, $4.99

The original adventure in one of Nintendo’s biggest franchises is on the eShop. Travel through Hyrule to find the missing pieces of the Triforce, fighting enemies and solving puzzles in order to save Princess Zelda from the evil Ganon.

NES (eShop): NES Open Tournament Golf, $4.99

Before Mario Golf, Mario hit the links in this NES game. Play on one of three fantasy courses, taking into account distance and wind before you choose your club. You can choose from Match, Stroke, or Tournament modes.

eShop: Family Tennis 3D, $6.99

The family has left the Wii and leapt to the 3DS. Play as one of eight characters on one of six courts in this easy-to-play game. You can try Tournament Mode, start out slow with Easy Mode, or play one of three included mini-games.

eShop: Akari by Nikoli, $4.99

Another puzzle from the famous puzzle company comes to 3DS. In Akari, players must use numbers on the board as guides, placing lights in order to light up everything on the board. This title contains 50 puzzles by Nikoli, as well as a Random mode that randomly generates puzzles.

DSiWare: Topoloco, $4.99/500 Nintendo Points

Topoloco aims to make learning topography fun. Join Professor Topoloco as he teaches you the topography of five different continents, challenging you to locate cities, place flags, and complete other educational mini-games.

DSiWare: 3, 2, 1… WordsUp!, $1.99/200 Nintendo Points

This game hands you a bunch of letters, and challenges you to make as many words out of them as possible. This game includes two game modes, tens of thousands of words, and support for five languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.


WiiWare: Let’s Create! Pottery, 500 Nintendo Points

Use your pottery wheel in order to create works of pottery art. Add colors, designs and more as you see fit, in order to create your masterpiece.

Neo Geo: 2020 Super Baseball, 900 Nintendo Points

The future of baseball is different from what we all know now. Choose from one of twelve teams to play as in the Cyber Egg Stadium, in a version of baseball that includes mines, player armor, and a tiny home run zone. Up to two players can compete in this bizarre rendition of the national pastime.

I’ve grabbed the demo for Heroes of Ruin, that game has intrigued me since I first heard about it. Here’s hoping the game turns out good.
