Nintendo Download: 7/26/12

This week’s Game of the Weekend is Colors! 3D, which is available for $3.99 from Friday at 9 a.m. PDT until Sunday at 9 p.m. PDT. Additionally, Super Mario Bros. on the Nintendo eShop is only $3.99, as part of the Month of Mario.

Game Boy (eShop): Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, $3.99

After being defeated by Mario, Wario heads to Kitchen Island, in order to steal a golden statue of Princess Toadstool. Put on special hats to gain powers and defeat enemies, and collect keys to unlock treasure chests. Try to collect as much treasure as you can before the end of the game, in order to build the best castle you can.

Game Boy (eShop): Mole Mania, $2.99

Play as Muddy Mole in this puzzle title, as you try to defeat the evil farmer Jinbe. Throw balls, break open exits, and dig through soil in order to avoid and trap enemies. Work your way through all of the puzzles in Jinbe Land, in order to find your wife and kids.

eShop: Planet Crashers, $9.99

As a recent graduate of the Planet Crashers Academy, your first assignment is to stop an unknown evil that wants to block out the sun. Take your fully customizable hero through a vast universe, exploring dungeons and gaining experience in this huge interstellar RPG. Up to two players can join in.

eShop: Dot Runner: Complete Edition, $4.99

In this action title, the player needs to run through dungeons, consuming dots as quickly as you can. The game has two different storylines, one taking place in the distant future, the other in the past. Play through the story in Quest Mode, or try to beat your best time in Speedrun mode. The game contains 100 different levels to explore.

DSiWare: Decathlon 2012, $4.99/500 Nintendo Points

Partake in all ten events of the famed Olympic decathlon. Play as an athlete from one of 32 participating nations, and try to beat the world records as you go through each event.

Neo Geo (Wii Shop): World Heroes Perfect, 900 Nintendo Points

World Heroes Perfect is the fourth entry in the World Heroes fighting series. This game features a 16-character roster and a revamped attack system that doesn’t rely on holding down buttons for stronger attacks. Also included are the Hero Gauge, Extra Attacks and Guard Breakers.

I’m tempted to pick up Wario Land, even though I’ve never actually played it before. I’ve heard plenty of good things about the series.
