For those who are jealous of Japan for the many gaming related items the US never seems to get, here’s yet another reason to envy the country. Starting August 25, 2012 at the Pokemon Center in Japan, pre-orders will be taken for a limited edition Pikachu Yellow Nintendo 3DS LL. The pre-orders will last until September 14 or until they meet the limit. Pre-orders can only be done in person according to the Pokemon Center post.
Then on September 15th, those who have ordered the system can pick it up or wait for it in the mail. It will not be available for sale in the traditional sense and is only being made available via pre-orders only, which may make it highly collectible. The price for the system is a mere 18,900 yen.
