The thing that weirded me out most, however, was the game’s A.I. The enemy A.I. is perfectly fine, but that of your troops is a little worse for wear, and inconsistent. In one mission, my troops swiftly obliterated an enemy counterattack before I could even give an order, but later on in that same mission, my planes decided the best place to wait for instructions was around an anti-aircraft battery. It was truly baffling for the longest time, until it occurred to me that the "Wait" command was really acting more like a "Fend for yourself" command. This unfortunately will cause your troops to occasionally charge blindly into the fray, as opposed to actually staying where they are like you wanted them to.
