Along with the terrible main game, there are two minigames: throwing snowballs at strangers, and dodgeball. The former of the two is probably one of the best parts of the game, which isn’t saying much; the controls manage to work alright, but this gets boring even faster than the main game. Dodgeball itself is just unfair; you’re expected to dodge balls thrown by the opponent, or catch them by tapping on them, but your enemies throw those balls at lightspeed, and you have little hope of surviving a throw. Likewise, when you throw the ball, if you even manage to throw it, it may not go in the direction you want, and its top speed is much slower; that minigame is just aggravating. The fact that I’ve never lost to the CPU despite this is an overwhelming mystery.

Even if the game engine were fixed up a bit, I’d have a hard time recommending this title. jackass: the game’s real problem is that it suffers from a fatal case of Stupid. This entire game is stupid; the premise is stupid, the objective is stupid, the missions are stupid, etc. I should have expected this, since the show’s premise is pretty stupid too, but at least on TV they have more variety and originality in the things they do. This design is just lazy.

This is easily the worst game I’ve ever reviewed for NintendoGal, and I give it a Nay! for absolutely everyone. This is a game that gambles on the premise that fans of jackass will enjoy launching themselves into piles of manure, but they didn’t even manage to get it working right. It’s a nearly-unplayable mess, and should be avoided.

Our Rating for Jackass: The Game Review
3.2

Repetitive missions, bad collision detection, overly simple sophomoric premise, and bad minigames.
0.1

Unable to test this feature.
4.1

The camera is okay, but moving is generally clunky. Using a launcher is slightly entertaining, but aggravating in your relative inability to control where you land.
4.7

Nothing’s really outright ugly, but everything’s incredibly bland.
2.9
Overall
This game is just barely playable, and fun for a total of five minutes.
