I get those quite a bit and so do many members of my family.  Heed the warnings they give, but at the same time don’t try to put too much stock in them.

<_< I recommend talking to your professors now and telling them what’s up, before the stuff ends up due. They’ll be more sympathetic.

I was going to say exactly what TSD said. That happened to me while I was working diligently on my web page my freshman year.

Don’t just back it up on your external HD, also back it up on CD. Just in case.
