I’m glad you’re feeling better. My mom is all about the natural healing remedies. She’s always pushing some kind of herb or something on me. Some of them definitely do work though, so I don’t mind a whole lot.
My dad is starting to be about it as well. I don’t blame anyone who does either (and I’m starting to lean that direction myself) because big pharma certainly isn’t helping the cause. :/
Troofs. My mom showed me how much one of my prescriptions would cost without insurance the other day and it was well over $200. And now the problem is I won’t be covered by my parent’s insurance once I graduate anymore. I didn’t want to get a real job right away because I want to focus on my dream of getting my novel published first, but I don’t know how I’m going to be able to afford living expenses. :/
I know people who take Papaya for stomach pain and they too say that it works wonders. I tend to get indigestion a lot but haven’t had a chance to pick some up. I’m glad that it works for you.
RE, I know how hard it is to be kicked off your parents insurance when you graduate. Is there some way in your state to get medical/prescription assistance for people who have low-income?
And I thought $50 was a lot for my prescription.....
