That does suck. Now, I haven’t seen enough to know whether you’re consistent or not, but I know you’re not a bad artist at least. Maybe not great, but still good. I dunno, maybe you can work at it and do better.
All I have to say is just see what your options are and see if there is anyone out there. Getting into the industry doing a "joint" job with someone is better than not getting in at all right?
Everyone needs to start at some point, you are, by no means, in the same level as a professional comic artist nor in the same league as Neil Gaiman. If you ever want to get better you need to keep working on your drawings and your writing.
I say you should focus right now in your story and get someone to illustrate it, this way it’s probable that it’ll get published faster.
I’m with them. I’m sure it sucks to be told that about your drawing, but you’ve still got a leg up in the whole Testament thing. You’ve got a good story, good storyboarding. Don’t stress too much about the artistry, try and find someone who’d love to get into the industry, like he said. And keep practicing your drawing in the meantime. I think it’s more important to get Testament out there and in the public eye than to stress over who’s drawing.
