After Klonoa, Namco's cute but unusual hero, is rescued from the Sea of Tears by a young priestess named Lolo and her companion Popka, he sets off to help the land of Lunatea. Lunatea keeps itself in order with four Harmony Bells, but now a fifth bell threatens that balance (it's even called the Bell of Sorrow, which would seem to indicate trouble).
