First a random thing about the movie. What was the point of changing the look of Flitwick? If it had been changed after the first two that would be more understandable since it’s a different director (though still stupid), but he wasn’t a normal midget on PoA was he? Or was he just not on that at all and I thought he was?

Next, I noticed something odd at the end of the movie. On the grave at the end you had three names. One was Thomas and the other Tom (don’t remember the other). They were supposed to have found "all three Riddles dead" like it said in the book, so going by that, I’d think the grave would be for the three of them. But the dates? IIRC they all had the same death dates which was in 1940-something (fitting the date he killed them 50 years before) and the one that said Tom Riddle was born around 1900. That would fit for Voldemort’s father I guess (other than the book said they were elderly), but the rest of it doesn’t make sense then. I just found it odd, even if it is the movie. When he opened the chamber of secrets the first time that was around 50 years before as well, right?

Anyway, I just finished the Order of the Phoenix and will start on the next book soon. May go ahead and watch the movie as well.

@_@

I’d have to go back and read/watch Goblet of Fire.

Order of the Phoenix was my favorite HP movie so far I think... and only partially because of Luna.

Anyway, I don’t remember nearly enough about the HP mythos to comment on your other thing, so I will now leave this topic.

I don’t think it had the dates on the grave in the book. That was just a movie thing. I was just throwing in stuff from the books to try and make sense of how they got that.

Also, that’s really your favorite? I had heard that it was one of the worst of the movies. Hmm....

It’s not one of the worst of the movies. Not even close. I actually like all of them BUT PoA.

Gotta go with Kuro. Though I haven’t seen Order yet, I really liked Goblet. POA is my least favorite as well.

Yeah, PoA was easily the worst so far. It was too rushed and really confusing (as a stand alone thing. I could follow because I read first). Not sure which is my favorite so far. I kinda want to say CoS but not sure.

I only saw PoA once, but I don’t recall hating it. Then again, I never really LIKED any of the HP movies... until 5. I think I thought PoA was just more of the same.

Never said I HATED it, just that it’s easily the worst out of em. Just seemed like they tried to cram too much in too little space in addition to the normal cutting/changing that happens with book movies. The book got bigger, yet the movie got shorter.
