I cannot wait for this game! I’ve known about it for a while (like months and months) but decided now to make a topic.

The trailer makes me want to play ToS over again.

I never beat ToS. In fact, I don’t think I even got to the 2nd disc. It wasn’t that I didn’t like it really, I think it was just too long. I got distracted.

I’m currently in the process of aquiring all NA released Tales of Games.
Starting with ToP for GBA.

And before I by Abyss and stuff I need to buy a PS2 this summer.

ToS is one of my favourite games I own on GC. Yeah it’s pretty long. Took me like 80 hours but I left it on during school one time (8 hours or so) because I was in the middle of a Boss battle that morning. XD

N00b loves Abyss. >_>

I hate ToS

Well what do you like about Abyss that you don’t about Symphonia?

The battle system? If so, DotNW will have a slightly modified Abyss battle system in it.

He hated the ending. That’s all I know.

I like the abilities in abyss more. I also like the fact that I like to use practically every single character. In ToS I only used Lylod. In ToA I’ve used nearly every character(though I usually control Natalia). I like the, i forget what they’re called, Mystic artes that you do in overdrive or whatever. I like that bosses also use their mystic artes. I find the battles to be a lot more fun than ToS. I like being able to run wherever I want. It makes dodging spells easier and you can get out of nearly every situation. I like the fact that you can use the things called Field of fonons to change your attacks into something completely different. I also love the story a hell of a lot more than ToS’ story. <_< Also Tales of the Abyss has fucking Jade. That should be enough. He makes up most of the game’s awesome.

haha, well, I’ve never played abyss so I can’t comment.

I personally love ToS. And yeah, I cam understand the only really use Lloyd thing. I’m not sure, but it may have been intentional. Who knows. I found casting magic with Raine or Genis to be really hard for some reason whenever I controlled them.

I know I personally also used Sheena and Zelos sometimes too. Oh and Presea just to shake it up.
