Even putting aside our differing opinions on things like abortions and gay marriage, the man is just insane. He’s racist, he voted against the Civil Rights Act, he’s for abolishing the Dept of Education, he doesn’t believe in evolution, he wants to abolish minimum wages, he voted against the act that would make it illegal to picket soldier’s funerals, and he wants to abolish the national currency - making each of the 50 states have their own.

I don’t pretend that I know a lot about politics, but I know enough about Ron Paul to know he’s retarded.

Obama is going to win anyway. I dont know about Ron Paul, but he DOES sound like a nut from RE’s post.

Also, Ron Paul is a Libertarian. As such, he believes in no government intervention in social or economic issues whatsoever, so he’s gonna vote against...damn near everything. It’s kind of odd how Libertarians want to interfere with the government to stop the government from interfering with people.
