As for Rock of Ages, I agree its a better album. But if you want youtubes, its gonna be Last Waltz.

This might be my favorite though, cuz it’s just the band (not with a bunch of guests), it’s a true professional soundboard, and it’s got "It Makes No Difference" which isn’t on Rock of Ages  Actually, I’m listening to it right now.

The Smiths "How Soon Is Now" is as far as I ever got into the British heroin-fag thing in the 80’s. THis song was just very different from eveything else at the time. This guy Kenny from NJ moved in with me and my buds in ’88 to replace a roommate that dropped out, and he was constantly playing the Depeche Mode, Joy Division, Smiths, etc. Wasn’t gay though - in fact his girlfriend is still in my ’top 5’ hottest girls I’ve ever seen, and she used to drive from NJ to WV damn near every weekend to fuck Kenny. Lucky guy for a fan of heroin-fag music.

’Reckoning’ was the first (and only) REM album I ever bought, in 1984. It’s awesome. Wore the cassette out then bought it on CD. REM got super famous after that and began to suck. In more ways than one.
