Oh yeah, The World Ends With You is also a really great game. It’s a pretty good RPG and it does have quite a bit of stuff to do in it.

And as RE said with the castlevania games they do have some things you can do. I don’t really think it’s a lot though. <_< You can speed through them a few times I guess. They aren’t too long if you’re breezing through them. I think on one of the bonus modes it took like a 1/4 of the time to get through it. Meaty for me means a lot of stuff to do through the main story line not side stuff. There IS a lot of side stuff if you choose to do it.

Yeah the pokemon games are LOADED with shit to do. You may want to wait for Pokemon Platinum though. It’ll probably have more.

As for the ZX series. I’d say get both eventually, but I would say get Advent over the first one. There’s a lot more stuff to do in it and a lot more forms/stuff. Though one of the characters you choose has a really crappy story to go with them(If you’re wondering it’s the female’s story line). >_> I’d say overall it’s better.  So Advent is the one i’d suggest more than the first. They’re more like the x games.

I don’t remember much about Yoshi’s Island DS, but I know I enjoyed it. There aren’t any fuzzies though. D: Also, if you’re going for the 100s in each level it’s a lot harder due to not having any items that you can use. no +20 star babies thing. ]:

The thing PPL is missing is a story/characters/ANYTHING. it’s pretty much ONLY tetris attack and nothing else.

Alright, so here’s what are probably the ones I’m most considering now, broken down into genres since it may end up depending on what I feel like playing.

RPG:
The World Ends With You
Pokemon (though if another version comes out soon I’ll probably wait like n00b said)

Action:
Dawn of Sorrow
Mega Man ZX/Advent

Puzzle:
Picross DS
Prof. Layton

Other:
Elite Beat Agents

Also, what exactly is PW like? I was under the impression that it was like a point and click game that focused mostly on story and would be a pretty quick game. Somebody else just recently said it was a long adventure-type game, which makes it sound nothing like what I was thinking. I guess Hotel Dusk fits in there as well because they mentioned that in the same post.

edit: EBA would fall under the easy pick up and play type, right? I’m thinking like I can play a few songs real quick if I want and not need to play it for a long period of time if I don’t want to.

You’re right about EBA being pick up and play. But what’s PW? >_>

Anyway, Pokemon Platinum does come out fairly soon.. maybe this winter or something? I don’t know. WEWY is better anyway.

n00b thinks the PW stands for Phoenix Wright, in which case I would say don’t buy them right away. The PW games are fairly short and there’s zero replayabliity. I’m not saying they’re bad games, but they are point-and-click and they do focus mainly on story. I’d get something that’s going to last longer first.

Yeah, EBA=great awesome wonderful game that will leave you with hours of entertainment.

Also Professor Layton. It’s brain puzzles that help you solve a mystery. Although you are in college so it depends on how much you want your brain to hurt each day. lol And I tend to be more of a puzzle game person so I also liked CrossworDS.

For mindless entertainment you could go with Cooking Mama LOL

Also, get Kirby: Canvas Curse. It’s the best Kirby game on the DS so far, and you’ll enjoy it.

Yes, that’s what I meant, and what you said was pretty much exactly what I thought. I don’t know what the guy was talking about. I would definitely think about them eventually, but like you said, I want something that will last longer first.
