NES: Double Dragon, 500 Wii Points

The popular two-player fighting game comes to the Virtual Console. Billy Lee’s girlfriend, Marian, has been kidnapped by the Black Warriors, who demand the secret to Billy Lee’s martial arts; he instead takes to the streets with his brother Jimmy, determined to fight his way through. As you play through the game, you’ll gain experience, and leveling up provides you with new fighting techniques; you can also grab weapons to use against your enemies. Before you download this for you and a friend to play, however, keep in mind that the NES version of Double Dragon does not have two-player simultaneous play; like Super Mario Bros., you’ll have to trade off playing.

This game certainly looks fun enough, but no two-player co-op? Nintendo should have waited for the Master System version.

Thats why DD2 was better. It had two player co-op.
