Nintendo is voluntarily recalling 71,000 lapel pins branded with Nintendo characters, after discovering the Chinese-manufactured pins contain lead. These pins were only sold to the public at the Nintendo World Store in New York City, though Nintendo of America employees could also buy them at the company store, and they were given out to many game-store employees between April 2004 and November 2007. Nintendo advises all owners to immediately stop wearing them and to call Nintendo at (800)431-0971 for a free replacement pin.
Man, Chinese-manufactured items are really having some trouble these days.
