The new Alone in the Dark game’s emphasis on fire has inspired a contest from Atari that encourages you to "Keep the Fire Burning", as the contest name indicates. You are challenged to create the largest possible group of friends by sending "torches" to ten friends, but they’ll have to pass the same torch on within 24 hours if they don’t want it to go out. In addition, secret codes will be posted at the contest website for you to find, which allow you to invite two more friends to your group.

The 10 largest groups will have drawings to award prizes to select members. The largest group will be offering up 2 trips to New York City or Paris, as well as 3 Xbox 360 consoles; the second and third largest groups have chances to win a trip, as well as a Nintendo Wii.
