Atlus, developer of Trauma Center and Persona 3 is "triumphantly friendless", and wants you to be as well, with their new game Dokapon Kingdom. The king of Dokapon is offering you his throne if you can defeat a horde of invading monsters - and he’s told three other people the same thing. Compete with your opponents as you travel across a game board, while defeating enemies, leveling up, collecting items and playing mini-games; don’t forget to battle, and steal from, your opponents along the way. The press release also notes that "after your friendships are broken, the game is just as much fun to play alone." Dokapon Kingdom does not have an ESRB rating and is set to be released on October 14, 2008.

I am terribly curious about this game. If they can include Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection they may have a serious winner on their hands.
