Pictures will be posted when Nintendo updates its press site.
WiiWare: Frat Party Games: Pong Toss, 800 Wii Points
This game sets out to capture the fun of beer pong in video game form, without all the brain-destroying alcohol. With a friend or by yourself, you can play in a traditional competition style, or you can play "Speed Pong" with up to four players. As you play, you’ll grab powerups and nail bonuses for consecutive shots; the one who gets the last cup wins it all.
TurboGrafx-16: Chase H.Q., 600 Wii Points
Hop into a police car and chase down some criminals in this title. You’ve got 60 seconds to race your way down the race course trying to catch up to the criminal, and then you’ve got another 60 seconds to ram its car until the criminal is forced to give up. Part racing game, part action, this game allegedly only has five levels, and thus you can see the entirety of its offerings in a mere ten minutes.
Neo Geo: Art of Fighting 2, 900 Wii Points
This sequel to the already-released Art of Fighting picks up where the story of the first left off. While the gameplay comes from the first game, this second installment brings the "Rage Gauge", which, like in the first game, limits the effectiveness of special attacks when used repeatedly. This game is also known for its very high difficulty, so download this if you’re looking for a challenge.
Nothing really wowing me this week, though I find the whole beer pong thing amusing.
