WiiWare: Helix, 1,000 Wii Points

Helix, developed by Ghostfire Games, is a music rhythm game that challenges you to move two Wii Remotes (required for play) into the proper positions in time with the music. You’ll be performing "punches, circles, back fists, hooks and more" as you move to the tune of 26 different music tracks. Try the harder difficulty settings for a serious workout.

TurboGrafx CD-ROM: Ys Book I & II, 800 Wii Points

This title brings together the first two Ys titles into a single package. Each of these two RPGs has you playing as the hero Adol Cristin, exploring the countryside, entering dungeons and fighting monsters in order to recover the secret of Ys. This TurboGrafx CD-ROM version brings with it voice acting and a fully orchestrated soundtrack.

Neo Geo: Samurai Shodown 2, 900 Wii Points

This sequel to the also-available Samurai Shodown features a rebuilt engine with better response time, faster moves, and special super moves linked to the POW meter that can disarm your opponent. Featuring six new characters as well, this game went on to become one of SNK’s most respected and well-loved fighters.

I’ve never played the Ys games before, but getting two acclaimed RPGs for 8 bucks seems like a good deal. I’m also hoping Helix delivers.
