On September 27, Nintendo and their Seattle Mariners will be hosting the second annual Nintendo Fan Network Day, celebrating Nintendo fans, Mariners fans, and the Nintendo Fan Network, which allows you to get game highlights, watch a video stream, or even order food with your Nintendo DS. During the course of the game (vs. Raiders), players with a Nintendo DS can compete in stadium-wide trivia contests in order to win prizes; those who do not have a DS can borrow one free of charge for the duration of the game. The game begins at 4:10 Eastern time (1:10 local Washington time), but be sure to get there with time to spare.
I’ve always liked the Nintendo Fan Network; not only is it really nifty if you’re watching the Mariners, but it’s great publicity.
