With gas prices as high as they are, Nintendo thought to have a launch event for Wario Land: Shake It! at a Mobil gas station and give away some fuel.  Not only did they offer free gas, but they had kiosks available for people to try out the game.  Wii systems were also given away along with copies of the game.

When all was said and done, 102 drivers received $40 worth of fuel for their vehicle.

I’ve briefly played the game and I have to agree with the folks in the video, the game is highly addictive and fun.  I would’ve also welcomed the free gas for our vehicle.  Kudos to Nintendo for offering to pony up for the tab for some drivers and hopefully get some new folks into the gaming realm.
