Disney has unveiled DGamer for the Nintendo DS at this year’s GDC, a game-spanning feature that will host Disney’s version of Miis, Achievement Points a la X-Box Live, and Pictochat.
After signing into the service with a PIN number, gamers can create their own avatar with customizable clothing, colors, and various other Mii-like features. More costumes and accessories can be unlocked presumably by earning ’Honors,’ acheivements netted by completing certain tasks in the games. There will also be an online leaderboard to show off your ’Honors’ and online instant messaging.
The first game that will support this feature will be The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, followed by other Disney-published games.
