SNES: DoReMi Fantasy: Milon’s DokiDoki Adventure, 900 Wii Points

This Japanese sequel to Milon’s Secret Castle has you playing as Milon once again, as you seek to rescue the fairy Alis from the evil wizard Amon. As you progress through the game, you’ll shoot bubbles at enemies, collect music notes, and quest to obtain "five legendary instruments and stars". Instead of shooting enemies, you can also jump on them, turning them into platforms you can walk on.

Genesis: Puyo Puyo 2: Tsuu, 900 Wii Points

If this game looks familiar, it’s because you’ve seen it before, in the form of Kirby’s Avalanche and Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine. So what does this new entry offer, besides an interesting Japanese pun (the word Tsuu means "expert" in Japanese, but also sounds like "two")? This entry in the series marked some popular changes to the finer mechanics, including Sousai/Garbage Countering (if an enemy sent garbage your way, you could negate some of it with garbage of your own), or Rensa Sibari/Chain Limit, wherein you can set a minimum length necessary for a chain to create garbage. All in all, though, it’s the same game as it was before.

If you’re going to take the trouble to import a game, and thus charge more for it, make it a game we haven’t played twice already, for pete’s sake.
