Today, 2K Play announced that Carnival Games for Wii has shipped more than one million copies worldwide.  The company also announced it would be releasing two more versions of the game. 

Carnival Games for DS will bring the Wii version to handheld gaming.  Instead of a direct port, 2K Play says the mini-games are designed specifically for the system.  All aspects of the system are being used including the microphone for certain situations.

Also announced today was Carnival Games: Mini-Golf for Wii.  This, like the original will be an exclusive to the system and will bring back the old line-up of characters.  In the game, players will be in a theme park of mini-golf courses that will have a variety of decor ranging from pirates all the way to dinosaurs.

While no release date was given for the new Wii title, the DS version of Carnival Games will be available sometime this summer.
