So, I figured I could try this out here. Just talk about where you’re at in games and what you think. Others can do the same, talk about what somebody else is doing, or whatever.
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
Just finished up chapter 3. I put the game down once we got Brawl, but I’ve started again and I worked through the third chapter these last few days. I’m about 10 hours or so in, seems like it’s gonna be a pretty good sized game. I wasn’t expecting too much from something like this. Not too much challenge (not that I was expecting it) but it’s fun and is funny.
Well, I have every character, every (new) stage, I’ve beaten every mode at least once, I have more than half the challenges completed... However, there’s still a ton to do, and I can’t wait to do it. Every free moment I have I find myself wanting to pick up the controller and unlock more shit, even if it’s just a dumb sticker. Some stuff is seriously intimidating though, and I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to do it. Beating Boss Rush mode on Intense? Uhhh... we’ll see. >_____> I love it though. Maybe not quite as much as Melee, but almost.
That’s really all I’ve been playing, even though I’m in the middle of about half a dozen other games. Ah well.
And Tith, I like Thousand Year Door okay, but I liked the original Paper Mario better. And Super Paper Mario (imo) is better than both of them.
I have no clue if hes evil or a freak, after I killed angeal and genesis fell off of some tower I was kicking his ass on. Seph went from o-ok dude to emo. Cause those two were like his drinking buddies or something.
I just finished the campaign. It was average until around the middle of the game when they set you up the bomb. Anyway I really liked the extra level on the plane after the credits.
Well, I wouldn’t say there is a "twist" they just drop a fraking atom bomb and kill lots of marines, and it has a reeeeeaaaaally nice cinematic of it.
*END OF SPOILERS*
The only thing I can really complain about on the single player game is that everything is scripted, so there are lots of places where you can sit back and snipe enemies all day, I mean it literally, because if you sit in one place the game will throw waves and waves of infinite enemies, no matter how many enemies you kill they will keep appearing, or it can happen the opposite, there are lots of enemies trying to kill you, but if you walk a few meters to a certain place they suddenly disappear.
